The position: This is an excellent Account Manager opportunity to join a world leader in the field of radiology.

Area working: Newcastle (not Northumberland) down to Lincolnshire, Notts, Chesterfield (not Derby)
Products: Contrast Media for use in Ultrasound, X-Ray Imaging, MRI & CT scanners
You must have at least 5 years proven successful sales experience. Experience managing key accounts and working with hospital procurement would be ideal. Radiology sales experience is preferred, or someone with a clinical radiology background combined with sales experience. Those with a strong background in capital equipment or medical device sales will also be considered. You must have knowledge of contracting and tendering, and the ability to sell niche products and provide technical advice. If you are ABPI qualified, this would be beneficial.
You will be responsible for selling the companies range of products into NHS hospitals and the private sector; the main contacts will be consultant radiologists although you will also deal with radiographers, supplies departments and cardiologists. You will work autonomously and have the opportunity to move into leadership role in future. ABPI will be essential within 6-8 months of joining - study days will be supported and the course will be funded.
