Basic salary: c£24,000

Bonus: £14,000

Area working: Sheffield based - predominantly based in office setting (COVID permitting) although some home working may be involved - a territory will be allocated to the individual (may not be local area as virtual selling)

Products: Breast markers, drainage catheters, VABB device, bone marrow biopsy (as well as other new products in the pipeline)

Your experience:

We are ideally looking for graduates of a relevant degree (biomedical science, other sciences etc or other business related degrees) who are keen to get into medical device sales although we would consider other candidates e.g. relatively new reps that want to have a more office / virtual selling role. We need you to be confident to virtually sell and demonstrate products through video conferencing technology.

The role:

To maximise and promote the sales of the company's portfolio (specific products shown below) through virtual (video) and telephone sales. To maintain and grow existing business as well as identifying new opportunities where possible. To provide technical support and the highest level of customer service within your designated sales territory. To work both independently and collaboratively to maximise sales opportunities. 

Specific responsibilities:

  • Maintain and build customer relationships.
  • Determine customer needs and provide product / procedural solutions.
  • Follow company priorities and marketing objectives with a view to maximising sales opportunities.
  • Evaluate competitors and their products responding proactively to market changes and external influences.
  • Develop business plans for retention of existing customers and identify new customers / sales opportunities and target these appropriately.
  • Research, develop and maintain an accurate and thorough knowledge of all products and related procedures, keeping abreast of new developments in relevant fields.
  • Meet agreed sales targets, business objectives and deadlines.
  • Maintain company records and provide reports when required.
  • Work well as part of a team , cooperate with colleagues and take direction from / work closely with your line manager.
  • Share customer information and best practice.
  • Continually develop selling techniques and product knowledge to further develop sales on given territory.
  • Observe company policies and procedures.
