The company: This organisation has been a pioneer in the field of sleep diagnostics for the last 30 years, and offer a comprehensive range of home and lab-based sleep diagnostics to hospitals and health providers. They are the exclusive distributor in the UK and ROI for the best sleep devices in the market, an also sell their own products throughout the UK, EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
The Position: They are now looking for a primary external salesperson for sleep diagnostics in the UK and ROI.

With an existing track record in medical sales, you will have experience of selling electronic medical devices into large hospitals and other healthcare environments. This experience will allow you to work autonomously as the role reports directly into the CEO. You will have a technical aptitude and have the ability to help trouble shoot and support with any technical issues which your customers might have.
It would be ideal if you had experience specifically within the sleep or respiratory electronic medical devices field, however other similar fields like ear & nose, cardio, dental, diabetes, or other fields that focus on electronics for breathing or mouth care would be acceptable.
Alternatively if you have a deep clinical experience of sleep diagnostics this is an opportunity to be trained in sales.
The role requires 25-50% travel and nights away from home to ensure the whole of the UK and ROI are effectively managed. We are happy to consider candidates who will be home based, so it will be ideal if you are located close to motorway networks as you will have meetings in London and the South East including HQ in Oxford regularly.
You will initially be the company's primary external salesperson for sleep diagnostics in the UK and ROI. Working with the existing internal sales team and reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage sales and help the strategic launch of new products to existing contacts as well as targeting new prospects.
In the future, the plan is that you will lead business growth, and grow a team of sales and marketing specialists as a Sales Manager/Director (depending on level of experience), or there may also be scope to help grows sales internationally by managing distributors.
Your initial Accounts will be larger public and private hospitals. Sleep diagnostics equipment is predominantly used and specified by sleep physiologists, and these “hands on” clinical professionals in the outpatient (and sometimes CCG space) make up our core customer base. Other key contacts will include doctors, health companies, dentists, procurement, EBME.
