Job Description

The company:  My client is an independent player specialised in the Diagnostic Imaging Business. Operating in over 90 markets worldwide, they have a successful track record in the development of clinically important products and related services to support clinical professionals to optimise diagnostic procedures. Basic salary:  to £45,000/£50,000

Area working: South UK (Birmingham south)

Products:  Contrast Media, medical devices and advanced administration systems for contrast imaging products for use in Ultrasound, X-Ray Imaging, MRI & CT scanners

Your experience:

You will be educated to degree level and ideally come from a cardiology or radiology background and have a strong technical aptitude, however candidates with capital equipment experience will also be considered. You may come straight from the NHS if you have a good commercial awareness e.g. experienced Diagnostic Radiographer, or be already working in a similar training role within medical devices.  

The role:

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive sales support and post installation training for the medical devices portfolio and support to all customers and other parties identified by the company. 


  • Responsible for working with the Account Managers to ensure achievement of the capital equipment budget. 
  • Working with all UK sales representatives in a supporting capacity in assisting with any applications support when necessary. 
  • Responsible for reporting adverse and device events.
  • Responsible for reporting complaints.
  • Responsible for operating to the instructions contained in all relevant SOPs.
  • Responsible for all post installation user training and support as directed by the Medical Devices Manager. 
  • Responsible for handling technical queries and providing technical information to all parties identified by the company
  • Responsible for the timely entry of all requested data into
  • Responsible for operating always within the guidelines of the current A.B.P.I. Code of Practice. 
  • Plan, organise and execute sales support activities as directed by the Medical Devices Manager. 
  • Participate in company meetings and commercial events as required. 
  • Complete training courses to a satisfactory standard. 
  • Achieve and maintain a satisfactory standard of product knowledge for the role. 
  • Perform any other tasks and duties as reasonably requested by the company.
