Product Sales Specialist Neonatal

Job Description

The company: Established over 40 years ago this British Manufacturer is a world-wide supplier of high quality, innovative respiratory consumables for anaesthesia and critical care. 

The position: Due to expansion an opportunity has arisen for a successful medical device representative to join the team in a product specialist capacity supporting their neonatal product range.

Basic Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Bonus:  £12,000 OT (open-ended)

Area working: Southern UK (Birmingham South)

Products: Devices for neonatal ITU including humidifiers, breathing systems, resuscitation masks and nasal cannula 

Your experience:

You should have a stable career history with good experience of selling medical devices in the acute hospital arena with a sound understanding of how to negotiate around the quirks and intricacies of the NHS procurement systems.  Neonatal or respiratory experience would be an advantage but not essential. As there a lot of new business to be won, you should be comfortable with hunting out and developing new business.

The role:

As the product specialist you will be selling a porfolio of neonal ITU and respiratory devices into hospitals throughout the South of England.You will Introduce and implement new product lines/trials within the territory and liaise with the Training and Education department to organise appropriate training to clinicians as required. The main customer base will be healthcare professionals, mainly neonatal nurses and consultants but will also include procurement. Part of the role will also be to develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within Neonatology to develop supporting evidence of the neonatal product range and its performance.
