£38,000 - £40,000 + c£30k bonus

The Company: With its products and solutions primarily for ophthalmology, my client helps drive progress in medicine and assists doctors all over the world in enhancing their patients' quality of life. My client has multiple divisions in their company and this role is part of their microscopy division. 

The role: They are now looking for an experienced capital sales person with experience of NHS theatre procedures based in central England.

Basic Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

Bonus: up to £30,000

Area working: East and West Midlands, and Yorkshire

Products: Ophthalmic Microscopes/Light Microscopes/Laser Scanning Microscopes (for ENT, Neuro and Spinal Surgery) and Imaging Systems

Your experience

You will have experience of selling capital equipment into an NHS environment.

Experience with innovative, endoscopic, digital or visualisation products would be an advantage.

You will have proven sales success over consecutive years together with a working knowledge and understanding of the theatre environment and procurement process you will also have the ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of staff within an NHS or Private Hospitals quickly.

The role:

  • You will develop an effective sales strategy to maintain existing market share and identify/ develop new sales opportunities for the portfolio sales within the territory.
  • You will qualify clinical need and financial consideration for product demonstrations, effectively and efficiently fulfilling key strategic and user requirements within surgical and out-patient fields across MCS portfolio with appropriate liaison across stakeholder for EBME, Theatres and Procurement.
  • You will identify and build strong relationships with a diverse and comprehensive group of stakeholders in NHS and private hospitals/groups to include Surgeons, Nursing team, Business and Theatre Manager, Medical Engineers and Procurement and Finance professionals and take full responsibility for appropriate utilization and organization of demonstration equipment to facilitate product evaluation and convert sales opportunities in line with pricing policy.
