Account Manager - Surgical Gloves

Job Description

The Company:  This organisation having been manufacturing surgical and examination gloves for nearly 100 years. They are constantly developing new and innovative products in conjunction with their end users. They have a reputation for providing quality products and excellent customer service. 

The Position:  As a result of business growth they are now looking for a rep to join the team in the Midlands.

Basic salary: to £35,000 (dependent on experience)

Area working: East Midlands, West Midlands and Northamptonshire

Products: Surgical gloves

The role:

  • The Account Manager is responsible for retaining existing business while developing additional accounts within his/her region.  
  • This is to be achieved by delivering a range of support services to customers while obtaining, arranging and managing clinical evaluations of products for potential customers.  
  • This will involve dealing with customers at all levels (e.g. Consultants, Theatre Managers, Theatre Nurses, Procurement/Supplies Managers, Infection Control Managers/Nurses, Occupational Health Managers/Nurses, etc.)

Your experience:

Ideally, you will have previous medical device sales experience, although those coming from a clinical or graduate background without the medical sales experience may also be considered. Previous experience of the theatre environment would be advantageous.
