Territory Manager Laryngectomy / Tracheostomy (South Wales)

Job Description

The company: This organisation is a specialised medical device company and market leader for voice and pulmonary rehabilitation for cancer patients who have lost their voice box. Allowing patients to speak and breathe better, their products are unique and truly life-changing. Established since the 1980s they have a long and successful history of product innovation. They have a direct presence in over 20 countries, have been growing year on year and their financial performance is strong. 

The position:  An opportunity has now arisen for a Territory Manager to join the team selling their laryngectomy and tracheostomy products in Wales.

Basic salary: Negotiable

Bonus: £9,000 (on target. Open ended)

Area working: South Wales with occasional visits to North Wales

Products: Laryngectomy product/voice box prosthesis and home delivery service. 

The role:

You will be selling laryngectomy products and voice box prosthesis into both primary and secondary care. There will be a large degree of patient focus and interaction with the position, for example you will attend community patient events where you will speak directly to the patients. You will also deal with ENT surgeons and Speech and Language Therapists who are based in both primary and secondary care. The purchasing route is very similar to stoma care or urology products which the patients can receive via a home delivery. 

Your experience:

You should be an experienced medical device sales rep, ideally with experience of selling into both primary and secondary care. As this is role is heavily patient focused, you should be a strong relationship builder and be comfortable with patient contact. Experience of dealing with products which are sold via a home-delivery service would be advantageous as would a clinical background. If you are a speech and language therapist looking to develop your career outside the clinical setting and can demonstrate strong commercial acumen you will also be considered.
