The Company: My client manufactures their own products in the UK and is intent on growing their business year on year. In addition to marketing their own range, they also act as UK distributor to a number of leading medical device manufacturers to bring innovative products of high quality and value to the NHS and private hospitals. They supply many leading manufacturers on a sub-contract or private-label basis.
The Position: Selling across a diverse portfolio (all Theatre/ITU/Anaesthesia based) the role is a mixture of new and existing business. You will have full autonomy on territory and be responsible for increasing business across your region
Why Should You Apply?
Basic salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Bonus: c£10,000 (open-ended)
Area working: South West and possibly South Wales
Products: Anaesthesia consumables (e.g. Capnography Adapters, Cuff Monitors, Temperature Management) Airway Management (e.g. Laryngeal Tubes, Masks, Lung Ventilation) and Surgical portfolio (e.g. Drapes, Procedure Packs and Sharps)
Candidates will be selling the company’s products to hospitals throughout the sales territory. The main contacts will be Anesthetists, Intensivists, Theatre Managers, Infection Control/CSSD, and Procurement. The role will involve a healthy split between new business and account management.
You will have previous Theatre/ITU experience gained in either sales or as a Nurse/ODP. Ideally, you will have experience of managing a larger product portfolio and be able to handle selling to a wide customer base. In addition, you should be a confident self-motivated individual who is comfortable working for a growth orientated SME.
