Account Manager - Radiology

Basic Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Bonus: £15k OT quarterly

Area Working: South Wales, South West across to Southampton and up to Cheltenham, Gloucester. Bristol area would be ideal.

Products: Contrast Media & medical devices and advanced administration systems for contrast imaging products

Your experience:

You must have at least 2-3 years successful sales experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical within the acute setting. You'll be commercially astute with good business acumen and a proven track record. Experience of managing key accounts and working with hospital procurement would be beneficial. Radiology sales and capital equipment experience would be a big help but is not essential. Ideally you will have knowledge of contracting and tendering, and you must have the ability to sell niche products and provide technical advice. If you are ABPI qualified, this would be beneficial however not essential.If you're a radiographer or sonographer and are interested in moving into the commercial world you will also be considered.

The role:

You will be responsible for selling the companies range of radiology contrast media and devices portfolio into NHS hospitals and the private sector; and engage with stakeholders in radiology, CT and ultrasound departments as well as cath lab. Customers will include consultant radiologists, radiographers, procurement leads, pharmacists, CT leads, sonographers  and cardiologists. You will be responsible for providing demonstrations on products in radiology and cardiology and will work in clinical partnership with your customers and help with their services. ABPI will be essential within 1 year of joining - study days will be supported and the course will be funded.  You will also be responsible for the management of any promotional expense budget devolved by the Sales & Marketing Manager, and responding to tenders and compiling quotes.
