You will be working with Ostomy and Hernia support products and other specialist medical textile products, including innovative garments for hernia prevention or support of existing herniation. They use special materials and incorporate many features that create a balance between the appropriate level of support required with comfort, whilst remaining easy to apply, wear, adjust and live with.
Position: The Support Product Specialist is responsible for assisting the Stoma Nurse in the fitting of standard and bespoke hernia products both in hospitals and patient’s homes. You will promote and display company products by attending Stoma patient information days held in hospitals and events within Stoma associations.

Area working: South West of England (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset) Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and South Wales The Ideal candidate would be located Bristol/ Bournemouth Wiltshire area. The North of the territory is Swindon and then down to Bournemouth on the coast.

You must have excellent administration skills so you are able to write out prescription requests and summarise data. You need excellent communication skills for this role and the ability to build relationships. The ability to listen and communicate effectively is essential. You will have excellent time management skills to ensure that appoints for fittings and nurse meetings are sufficiently scheduled and be able to take accurate measurements of dressings. Any experience of working in a Stoma environment advantageous.
The core functions of this role are to develop new and existing relationships and achieve sales targets across the product portfolios. You will develop business plans to target accounts and ensure business growth, as well as supporting any new product developments within key accounts. The role involves maintaining up to date knowledge of the products, competitor products/ activities and market changes. It also includes providing a high standard of service to external and internal customers, especially Stoma Nurses.
