Job Description

The company: This role is with a leading manufacturer of dental pharmaceuticals and medical devices focusing on dental anaesthetics, periodontics, endodontics, restoratives, disinfectants and hygiene. They are the world leader of dental anaesthesia and invest in research and development which has led to the introduction of new innovative products. 

The position:  You will be responsible for generating all territory sales activities including education of company products to oral healthcare professionals.

Basic salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Bonus: 20%

Area working:  South West - Cardiff across to Hereford/a bit of Worcestershire and down to Cornwall

Products: Dental pharmaceuticals and devices - from local anaesthetic cartridges, topical gels, dental needles obturation powders and pastes to innovative restorative solutions for pain control, endodontics, restorative dentistry, infection control and more. 

Your experience:

You must have at least 5 years proven and successful sales experience in the dental industry. You will be a self starter with the ability to work independently and conduct business with a high level of integrity. You should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with customers at all levels. 

The role:

You will be selling technical dental devices and pharmaceuticals throughout the Midlands region, reporting all sales activities through the CRM system to ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas are met. 

 Duties and responsibilities:   

  • Focus time preparing and calling on dental Practices and other high volume Dental Customers.
  • Conduct Lunch and Learn meetings to train dentists and their office personnel providing industry information on products.
  • Gain proficient knowledge of company products to effectively teach and train others on core products.
  • Use CRM system to determine facility visits and most effectively plan daily routes. 
  • Attend local shows and educate, sell, and up-sell to trade show attendees (primarily dentists).
  • Work to achieve maximum monthly and annual sales.
  • Targeted sales to assigned accounts in the designated region.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts.
  • Prospect for new accounts in the assigned territory.
