Territory Manager - Surgical

£40,000 - £50,000 + 40% bonus

The Position: This sales role involves selling in the theatre environment with a range of Female Health, Gynae and Colorectal products

Basic aalary:  £c40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience

Bonus: 40% of basic salary

Area working: South Thames (to Baskingsoke in West). Includes London (South of the River)

Products: Women's Health Surgical products (Catheter sets, Uterine positioning, Colposcopes, Retractors and Gynae/Colorectal kits)

Your experience:

You should have previous sales experience within the theatre environment - any previous knowledge of gynaecology and women's health would be desirable but is not essential (3yrs+).

The role:

The purpose of this role is to effectively and efficiently increase volume and market share through sales of the device portfolio of products. It is essential that good customer relationships are built and maintained, and that the territory is well segmented, and well covered.

High levels of integrity and self-motivation are required to do this role, coupled with the requirement for planning skills and absolute accountability.

Key Accountabilities Include: 

  • Achievement of sales targets relative to the portfolio
  • Deliverance of non sales objectives
  • Presenting products and services to both Clinical and Non-Clinical stakeholders
  • The ability to work within the NHS and Private Sector 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the NHS and its revenue streams along with its 3rd party supply chains
  • Education of customers on the features and benefits of each product, relative to their requirements
  • Effective territory planning at customer and account level, along with segmentation of the business
  • A clear understanding of the size of opportunity via business planning tools and market analysis
  • Promotional activity at local, regional and national exhibitions and sponsorship opportunities
  • Knowledge of the Theatre suite and its applicable regulations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust communication style to suit the audience and gain buy in.
  • Work with the Clinical Support person and Marketing team to ensure support is delivered where applicable
  • Follow all  guidelines and Company Policies ensuring a professional manner and appearance at all times
