Medical Representative - Ostomy


Job Description

The Company: This organisation is an independent, employee-owned company which develops and markets products for urology and ostomy care. With a range of products which include two very strong and well-placed global brands, they have been helping patients for nearly 100 years. A strongly principled organisation who value integrity, strong customer focus and respect. 

The Position: Due to expansion they are now looking for an experienced, performance driven sales person with excellent interpersonal skills to join their Ostomy team covering the South Thames patch

Basic Salary: Negotiable

Area working: South Thames (SL, GU, KT, WC, EC, SE, CR, W, DA, ME, CT, TN, BN, RH, PO, SO)

Products: Stoma care

Your experience:

Educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent), you will have already started your career in medical sales and have at least 1-2 years experience. Previous experience of the ostomy market is advantageous but not essential.   Personality is key, and as such you will be an excellent relationship builder and demonstrate passion and enthusiasm. You will be results-oriented with a drive for sales and have an empathetic but assertive approach to your job.

The role:

The majority of time will be spent in hospitals dealing with ostomy nurse specialists where you will be required to build up strong relationships and then drive sales. Although there is a strong educational element to the role as well as a degree of patient contact, you will also be required to drive the business with commercial contacts.
