The Position: A vacancy has now arisen for an experienced woundcare or vascular sales person to join their team. Covering Sussex and Kent, you will work across the part of their business which deals with Vascular and Wound Care products.

Ideally you will have medical sales experience and have worked in the wound care or vascular compression market, however those who have begun to develop a field sales career outside the medical sector will also be considered. You will have the ability to build strong business relationships and use these to develop sales. You will have an empathetic and customer focused approach.
In this role, you will be responsible for the wound care and vascular business in the community and hospital settings selling in an extensive range of medical devices. Territory planning will be key to ensure you maintain regular interaction and relationship building with your customers, and collaboration with other team members across the business will be essential to your success. The position is home based, and you will be required to live on the territory. Extensive territory travel will be required, including some over nights, and occasional travel off territory for business meetings and conferences as necessary.
Working alongside a hospital account manager, although you will have some hospital contact, you will spend the majority of your time working in the community making sales calls and relationship building through face to face meetings, telephone calls and provision of written information to customers. Customers will be varied and include:
NHS Trusts at local and regional levels including Purchasing Managers and other gatekeepers e.g. TVNs, Infection Control Nurses and Medicines Management, Vascular teams, District Nurses, Orthotists, Vascular Consultants / Ward Sisters • Professional organizations (BLS, Lymphedema Support Network, Vascular Society, Leg Clubs) • Community pharmacies • Community / District Nurses / Practice Nurses • Tissue Viability Nurses • Independent practitioners and therapists • Vascular Specialist Nurses • Lymphedema Specialist Nurses • Supplies Departments / Procurement • Orthotics • Key Opinion Leaders at territory level. • Clinical Commissioning Group members and relevant nursing professionals.
