Established in response to the increasing demand for round-the-clock, outsourced radiology reporting, they provide 24/7 radiology reporting, while ensuring radiologists only ever work ‘daylight’ hours. Their team of Radiologists has grown to more than 200 all GMC specialist consultants who have extensive NHS experience, reporting on more than 650,000 examinations a year for NHS hospitals. With the support of advanced technology, they work with hospitals and clinics to provide urgent after hours reporting as well as routine, overflow and backlog reporting. This leads to a better clinical practice for staff – and a quicker, more thorough diagnosis for patients.
The position: The primary responsibility of the Relationship Manager is developing and nurturing relationships with Radiologists, focusing solely on internal relationships with Australian, Zealand and UK radiologists located across the global network. In addition, this role will assist with the scheduling needs for all Radiologists being responsible for ensuring the daily workflow runs smoothly and efficiently. You will support the Global Workflow Manager by liaising with Clinical Directors and Radiologists to meet the scheduling and reporting needs of clients.

You will have previous experience of building trusted personal relationships with specialist doctors along with account management, relationship management or roster scheduling experience. You must have excellent communication and networking skills and be able to relate well to others in a confident and persuasive manner. You will be able to adapt and respond to change, managing and coping effectively with setbacks. You should work strategically to organisation goals and demonstrate financial awareness. For this role you will accept and tackle demanding goals with enthusiasm and have evidence of exceeding KPIs. You must be results focused and aware of client needs and project goals. You will have the ability to focus on account holder needs and satisfaction while monitoring quality and productivity. To be successful in this role, you must have strong organisational skills in order to set objectives and plan activities in advance. High attention to detail and able to maintain data entry accurately and efficiently is essential. Having a strong knowledge of working with CRM/ Salesforce is desirable but not essential, and an understanding of the health care system in UK, Australia and New Zealand is desirable.
Your principal responsibilities will include:
You must operate and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability in this role, ensuring that communication is always clear and effective throughout offices, especially between the Operations team, Radiologists and clients. You will also be responsible for daily administration tasks undertaken in internal CRM systems. Some of the challenges in this role include managing accounts with a diverse range of geographies, personalities and personal preferences and getting Radiologists to commit to working during holiday periods, public holidays etc. You will be operating within a global firm where Radiologists operate across a range of international time zones and you must have the ability to manage these relationships effectively with a relationship and commercial outcome focus in mind.
