Territory Manager - Urology / Obs & Gynaecology

£45,000 - £50,000 + 50% bonus

The role: As a Territory Manager, your main focus is to communicate and visit customers and seeking out new opportunities to market and sell the company's products and systems within the Urology and Obstetric product portfolio, in both public and private hospitals.They are looking for a strong customer focussed individual to join their sales team and uphold the values of patient comfort and care.

Basic salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

50% of base commission/bonus (with overage kickers. Uncapped, earn the moment you sell)

Products: Urology and Obs/ gynae diagnostic and therapeutic products- Uroflowmeter, ultrasound bladder scanner, pelvic floor rehab system, urodynamic systems, urethral drug coated balloon, urodynamic catheters, endoscope, urology procedure table, vacuum delivery system, membrane tests, Panniculus Retractor, uterine manipulator, dilator, oral and nasal aspirators

Area working: West London, Berkshire, Hampshire, West Sussex

Your experience:

You will have at least 2 years experience in a similar medical device sales role. Ideally you will have Urology, Gynaecology, Uro-gynae or Colorectal sales experience, and are preferably educated to degree level however other medical device experience will be considered. Capital equipment and consumable sales experience would be an advantage but isn't a prerequisite.

The role:

he main areas you will be selling into are Urology Outpatient Departments, calling on Urology Nurse Specialists and Nurses. As a medical sales rep in this role you will also be required to be scrubbed in theatre departments whilst procedures are being carried out.  You will be selling to Urologists and Gynaecologists, as well as Theatre Managers, Theatre Nurses, Consultants, Paediatricians, Colo-Rectal Surgeon and supporting nursing staff. The role will involve giving product demonstrations to Consultant Surgeons and providing them with advice/ guidance on the application of the product 

Key role responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for all of the sales within your territory in line with company goals and personal targets.
  • You are required to work within your territory on a daily basis. 
  • You should expect to work in a number of Hospital settings including the Operating Department. 
  • You will be expected to attend local, National and International Conferences.
  • There will be regular national or international sales meetings that you will also be required to attend.
  • In-services, educates, and trains customers on correct use of products and services
  • Achieve revenue targets
  • Proactively manage customer relationship to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Keep company CRM updated
  • Assist in strategy planning and marketing campaigns
  • Attend and support exhibitions
  • Provide quotations and correspondence to customers
  • Provide installation and training to end users with support
  • Produce regular reports on activities within your territory on competitor’s activity.
