Breast Care Territory Manager

£35,000 - £40,000 + uncapped bonus

The company: Join a leading global manufacturer, marketer and distributor of prosthetic and orthopaedic products. The company markets products through its direct sales forces in Ireland, the UK, the US and Canada and through over 300 specialist distributor partners in over 80 countries.  They have five manufacturing sites globally and over 350 employees engaged in product development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, distribution and administration.

The position: As Breast Care Territory Manager reporting to the Commercial Breast Care Manager, you will part of the team that manages a strongly performing existing business and has been established in the UK for many years.

They are looking for a dynamic and highly focused individual to join the Breast Care Team with the exciting brief of identifying and capturing sales and markets for their Breast Prosthesis ranges; someone to establish long term business development and growth in this area.

Basic salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Bonus: Uncapped bonus based on growth paid monthly plus other incentives

Area working: London / South East (Peterborough / Cambridge down to South Coast) 

Products:  Breast prosthesis (mainly for women who have undergone mastectomy/breast surgery)

Your experience:

The ideal candidate would have a background in medical device or healthcare sales with a proven history of growth and business development and a solid understanding of NHS procurement routes. Ideally you will be an experienced Territory Manager with a strong track record with the energy and focus to grow and develop the business and region to the next level.Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills are key to the success of this role. 

The role:

You will target customers predominantly within the NHS but can also include private healthcare companies and retailers. This role will require a certain amount of travel in line with the geographical area. There will be times when you will need to travel to other regions for conferences, meetings or training occasionally. You will manage your region with the focus of supporting existing business, increasing new business and promoting the company to increase product sales and hit regional targets. The company has contracted breast prosthesis fitting clinics throughout the UK, mainly for women who have undergone mastectomy/breast surgery.  Your role is to support and manage these clinics along with the Breast Care Fitters.

Kay responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts;
  • Negotiate and close agreements with NHS procurement teams;
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities;
  • Perform sales visits and demonstrations;
  • Develop business plans;
  • Achieve sales targets;
  • Manage fitting team in region;
  • Arrange clinic cover when required and be able to cover clinics if needed;
  • Facilitate and deliver CPD accredited workshops;
  • The role may require occasional weekend work and overnight travel;
  • Collate reports and data from fitting team to help with product and brand development;
  • Any other ad hoc duties required by management.
