The position: This senior level Account Executive position requires several years of experience and is characterised by a sustained record of sales. Join an industry leading healthcare team as an Infection Prevention Account Executive. You will promote their line of healthcare products including instrument care, surface disinfectants and antibacterial hand rinses, and as well as fluid warming equipment, patient drapes, equipment drapes and surgical safety products. You will call into a variety of hospital settings including infection Prevention, sterile processing, operating rooms, interventional radiology and more.

Your experience: The ideal candidate for this position will have significant healthcare sales experience and a proven sales record of selling into the NHS. You should have a good understanding of the NHS and be comfortable and confident liaising with Lead Nurses and Procurement. Having contacts and relationships built within infection control would be a real advantage, but this is not essential. A highly motivated "can do" attitude is essential and must be coupled with excellent business acumen, influencing skills and have a proven track record of good judgement and integrity. You must be proficient in dealing with many demands of information gathering including business analysis and pipeline planning.
The role: The main purpose of the role is to provide innovative infection prevention and surgical solutions to healthcare professionals. This position will require you to visit wards including ITU and other clinical settings, selling the organisation's products and services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects. You will be responsible for growing existing accounts by adding additional product lines. It is important for you to build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process.
