The Position:  They are now looking for a high performer with clinical secondary care sales experience in cardiology to join their Atrial Fibrillation business.

Basic salary: Negotiable 

Bonus: 35%

Area working: North of England (M62 corridor – Liverpool to Hull incl Sheffield)

Your experience:

With a degree in Engineering, Life-Science, Biology or another advanced degree you will be a high performing rep with clinical secondary care sales experience ideally within cardiology, but other strong representatives from other medical device sales will also be considered. You will be commercial and driven and have a thorough knowledge of the decision making and sales process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement). It would be advantageous to have experience of EP, good marketing and strategic skills as well as experience of supporting clinical research 

The role

This role will give you the opportunity to work within a fast and innovative cardiology business. You will help maintain and develop the AF Solutions business with existing and new customers in line with the UKI Business Strategy in the defined sales territory while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets.

You will have varying responsibilities across:

Selling and account support:


  • Analyse the market place, develop an effective territory/account sales strategy, and present the strategy to management to gain approval for implementation.
  • Perform all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation.
  • Identify and address all key decision makers (clinical, administrative /economic) key opinion leaders and key referrals in all accounts and reports on them to the district manager on a regular basis.
  • Further develop existing accounts into new therapies and develops entirely new accounts.
  • Build strong and lasting business relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process.
  • Identiify and prepare upcoming tenders. 
  • Market development for the accounts to increase Afib referrals.
  • Help lab optimize the Afib patient Pathway helping to increase procedure and Lab efficiency.
  • Attend and participate in key professional congresses and events as required.
  • Assist physicians with support on procedures when required. 
  • Provide technical support to customers (i.e., physicians, consultants, cardiologists, electrophysiologists) according to territory guidelines. 


  • Train and educate relevant hospital staff.
  • Maintain and acquire new product, technology, market, sales tool and process knowledge. 
  • Acquire and develop all necessary professional selling skills, in accordance with the company’s personal development program.
