The Company: This SME is a medical device company which has been established to develop and globally market a unique laparoscope accessory which has been designed to keep the window on the laparoscope clean during surgery.
The role: In order to build their business in the North of the country they are now looking for a rep with experience of working or selling into theatre to join their team. You will need to be based along or close to the M62 corridor.

Basic salary: to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Bonus: KPI-based (£2k for rest of year)
Area working: North to be based near M62 (Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds)
Products: Unique laparoscope accessory (unit and consumables)
You should have experience of working in theatres, dealing with surgeons and knowledge of theatre protocols. This may have been gained clinically or through working as a theatre nurse or ODP. Experience of laparoscopic procedures would be advantageous. You will be a self-starter who is capable of working autonomously and be a strong relationship builder with the ability to sell a new concept to surgeons.
You will be selling a new laparoscopic accessory which keeps a laparoscope clean during surgery. You will develop relationships with key surgeons, perform evaluations and then build a business case to drive the sale through procurement. This is a new and unique product with lots of potential in the market and you will need to sell the concept to surgeons to get their buy-in.
