The Company:  My client is a diversified, global medical device company focused on improving patients' lives by providing superior reconstructive and regenerative orthopaedic and spine solutions to physicians worldwide.
The company has four strategic business units that include BioStim, Biologics, Extremity Fixation and Spine Fixation and their products are distributed in more than 50 countries around the world via  sales representatives, stocking distributors and subsidiaries. they employ approximately 900 employees around the world who are dedicated to the development, manufacturing and distribution of orthoapedic and spine products and regenerative tissue forms. 

The Position: Working in a Clinical Specialist/sales support capacity the role involves supporting the Sales reps throughout the region and providing end user support to clinicians.

Your experience:

You will be a driven, energetic individual looking to work in a sales support/clinical support  career in Orthopaedics.  You will be a commercially astute ODP, Nurse or Physio who is keen to learn and assist the existing Territory Managers in order to maximise sales within the UK.

The role:

The Clinical Specialist position is a key function with regards to supporting and training our customers, working with the Sales and Marketing team and maintaining KOL relationships. Is a pivotal role in the long-term portfolio development for product ranges. Provides training for Health Care Professionals to ensure safe and effective use of the portfolio within  the given region.

  • Gives technical Pre/Post-Operative Support to Healthcare Professionals and Patients 
  • Identifies new business opportunities for the Territory Managers during in-territory activity.
  • Provides technical training and in-depth practical overviews to sales team in the UK.
  • Supports the implementation of product launches with the UK Sales & Marketing team, creates feedback reports  on ‘first case’ surgery with new products and works with MDM to increase future potential of portfolio  expansion within the UK.
  • Supports workshops at key external and internal meetings – Provides training of sales team in-field and during  internal meetings.
  • Gives technical support for events and promotional visits
  • Manages KOL relation within existing customer base in given region – Assists MDM with high quality recruitment and pre/post course development of delegates for Global Medical Education events.
