The Company: My client was established in 1996. It is involved in the distribution of specialist medical products, targeting key niche areas: Orthopaedics, Surgical, Aesthetics and Monitoring. The company has agreements with world leading manufacturers of orthopaedic, surgical and aesthetic products.
The job: An outstanding opportunity to sell a wide variety of capital equipment into specialist hospital areas. The role is covering West Midlands, Cheshire and Wirral and they are looking for someone familiar with a technical sales process (from a sales or EMBE background).
This is a 9-12 month maternity-cover contract.

Basic salary: £38,000 - £40,000
Bonus: £10,000 (open-ended)

Products: Patient monitoring equipment, ECG machines, cardiology equipment, foetal monitors, stress monitors, low end monitors
Ideally, you will be an experienced sales representative who has previous experience of selling large, technical pieces of equipment to the NHS.
This medical sales role involves promoting a wide range of capital equipment predominantly to EBME and cardiology departments. You will be responsible for selling the equipment, providing training and education/demonstrations of the portfolio. You will negotiate/secure tenders and develop long lasting business relationships in order to increase cash sales & market share.
