The Opportunity:

Their success reflects their innovative ability to develop new products, services and systems, often in partnership with hospitals, universities and other specialists.

Basic salary: Negotiable

Bonus: £10,000

Area working: West Midlands and North West (as far north as Macclesfield)

Product / Service: Parenteral Nutrition & Aseptic compounding service

The role:

Candidates will be selling the company's products to hospitals throughout the sales territory. The main contacts will be Hospital Pharmacists, although you will also be selling to Dieticians, Nutrition Nurses, ITU Consultants and nursing teams, and Anaesthetists.  As well as product selling the Clinical nutrition business also promote a TPN additions service via an Aseptic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility.  Overall, the Sales Specialist will be responsible for:


  • Development and implementation of a territory business plan to meet the territory target, and therefore the business unit, the division and the corporate expectation.
  • Managing and developing sales activities within the secondary care Clinical nutrition market for the territory.
  • Identifying key customers within the territory and creating and developing solid relationships with them in order to promote the focus products and the company.
  • Understand the competitors and their activities.
  • Keep abreast of developments and trends within the market and supply this market information back to the company regularly.

Your experience:

You will be an enthusiastic sales person with a proven track record in medical sales. Ideally, you will have been exposed to both pharmaceutical and device sales and will be familiar with selling to hospital pharmacies.
