£40,000 - £55,000 + £25k bonus

Basic salary: £40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience

Bonus: £25k on target, 10% of everything above target

Area working: North of London and North Thames up to Sheffield and all of West & East Midlands

Products: Spine -  lumbar spine fusion, posterior spinal fixation system, bone regeneration, cages, screws

The role:

You will be working to improve market position and achieve financial growth by achieving your sales targets. You will be promoting, selling and providing surgical solutions tailored exactly to the needs of spinal surgeons, clinical staff and patients. You will need to supply product and clinical information to the customer to achieve the optimum usage of the portfolio. The role involves providing all necessary training and in theatre support for surgeries when required. It includes maintaining effective relationships with key influencers and decision makers in each account. It is also critical for you to maintain a good understanding and awareness of the competition at individual hospitals and regionally. You will be tasked with implementing a strategic plan and developing a pipeline of new business coming into the company. You will also identify opportunities for campaigns, services and other channels that will lead to increase in sales as well as negotiating tender contracts.  

Your experience:

You should have a proven track record in sales, however, this can be in any area of healthcare e.g. pharmaceutical or medical devices. It is beneficial if you have connections in the spinal or orthopaedic market, although this experience is not essential. You must have the ability to liaise and build relationships with Spinal Surgeons in theatre, as well as the ability to prospect new potential clients and successfully convert hospitals and surgeons into customers. You should be bubbly, driven to succeed and have a go-getting attitude. My client values attitude over knowledge as this can be learned.
