The position:  An outstanding opportunity has now arisen to join this results driven team as a Retail & Pharmacy Key Account manager for their Visioncare products.

Basic Salary:  Negotiable

Area Working:   National but main accounts will be Midlands/South East based.  

Products:  Visoncare products such as contact lens solutions. 

Your experience

The nature of their industry means that to perform this role you will need to be an accomplished strategic account manager used to working with large complex multiples. You will need to have strong category management and strong commercial acumen to analyse and extrapolate trends in the market and accounts. You will need strong presentation and negotiating skills to manage professional buyers within their customer base.

The role:

 As the Retail and Pharmacy Key Account Manager for Visioncare in the UK you will be responsible for Major retail and pharmacy accounts that have high expectations on delivery, strategic thinking to appeal to their customer base and most of all strong Category Management. With such significant growth and potential in this sector this is an exciting time to come and make your mark and further develop this growing business. As key senior member of the Visioncare team you will be working closely with the Visioncare leadership. 

This is technically a National role but the core customers are around the midlands and South East, and therefore not as extensive on travel as it may look. The key element they are seeking are:

  • Strong commercial acumen dealing with large Grocers, Pharmacy chains and wholesalers.
  • Category Management experience.
  • FMCG  or OTC preferred.
  • Given the customers a good understanding of Marketing is key.
  • They would look to fund further marketing studies if the candidate is interested.
  • Strong sales background.
  • Experience of putting together proposals and pitches for Multiples and/or large E-commerce platforms.
  • Someone who is dynamic, keen to evolve and progress, growth mindset, willing to really stretch their boundaries, agile and flexible.
