The position: Due to an internal promotion, this is an excellent Business Development Manager opportunity to join a world leader in diagnostics.

Basic salary: Up to £55,000
Bonus: 20% of salary, quarterly
Area working: National role to begin with but must be based in South (Birmingham & South of) due to majority of business in South.
Products: Interventional and diagnostic cardiology products including Contrast Delivery System and imaging for cardiovascular angiography and micro catheters.
You will have either clinical experience working in cardiac catheter labs e.g. cath lab technician, Cardiac Interventional Radiographers or cardiology nurse or have sold to cath labs in a commercial sales role e.g. cardiovascular devices. Ideally you will have a clinical or medical sales background in electrophysiology or interventional radiology and a proven track record of selling into cath labs or surgical suites. A strong knowledge of interventional cardiology is required. You will be commercially astute with good business acumen and a proven track record.
You will be responsible for selling the company's cardiology range into NHS hospitals and the private sector; the main contacts will be Consultant Cardiologists and Interventional Cardiologists although you will also deal with Cardiac Physiologists and supplies departments. You will be responsible for providing demonstrations on products in cardiology cath labs and electro physiology labs. ABPI will be essential within 1 year of joining - study days will be supported and the course will be funded. You will also be responsible for the management of any promotional expense budget devolved by the Sales & Marketing Manager, and responding to tenders and compiling quotes.
