Territory Sales Manager, Tissue Technologies

The Position: They are now looking for a personable, experienced surgical sales rep, to help them continue to drive sales in the London area.

Basic salary: Negotiable

Area working: Western side of London (patch goes West to Bristol)

Your experience:

You should have a minimum of two years medical sales experience within the OR and will ideally have also sold wound care based products. You should be an excellent relationship builder, a strong team player and be able to work autonomously. With strong negotiation and selling skills, you will have a strong track record of developing and executing sales plans.

The role:

Using relationship/consultative based selling in secondary care, you will identify sales prospects and open new accounts in a range of departments including:

o    Burn centers - University Hospitals
o    Plastic Departments - Private Hospital Group
o    Trauma Departments - DGH
o    Vascular - Dedicated centers (DF, oncology etc.)
o    Oncology
o    Maxillo facial
o    Head and neck
o    Pediatrics

You will be required to spend time in theatre during surgical procedures, providing product-based, clinical support to customers. You will be negotiating with customers within the available pricing structure. You will, of course, be responsible for territory business planning and will analyse sales territory opportunities and growth potential by using market panels/database in order to identify prospective customers and by analysing the performance of the territory using sales reports. In addition, you will be required to develop written strategic business plans for forecasting and targeting key accounts in the first quarter of employment and prepare quarterly action plans which you will update regularly.
