Area Sales Manager Audiology Diagnostic Equipment

£35,000 - £40,000 + £10k bonus

Job Description

The Company: This organisation is one of the largest suppliers of specialist equipment used within Audiology and Balance Clinics as well as Hearing Aid Dispensers in the UK.

The Position: Due to the retirement of the current Sales Manager, they are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their enthusiastic team.

Basic salary:  £35,000 - £40,000

Bonus: £10,000 (open-ended)

Area working: North Thame, London, Anglia, Essex, Kent, Sussex

Products: Audiology and ENT diagnostic equipment and consumables. 

Your experience:

Ideally, you will be an experienced medical sales rep with a strong track record of selling capital equipment. Previous experience of the audiology market would be advantageous but is not essential. Alternatively someone from a clinical background within audiology looking for their first step into the commercial world will also be considered. 

You should be able to work to  on your own initiative, in a professional and ethical manner and be willing to go the extra mile to satisfy your customers.

The role:

While selling predominantly to the NHS (70%) you will also sell to private audiology companies such as Boots and SpecSavers. Within the NHS stakeholders will include Audiology Heads of Department, ENT consultants and procurement. You will support existing and new customers to enable them to fully benefit from the purchase of these products as well as Install equipment and teach new customers how to use our products.
