The position: They experienced rapid growth and are now looking for someone in the South East to continue with this and cement their pace in the UK market. The Sales Specialist is a field based commercial sales position which is accountable for maximising the sales, usage and profits of products, in line with the marketing strategy, to healthcare professionals within your territory. You should be commercially minded and adept at working autonomously in order to maximise business throughout the key Health Trusts in your region.

For this role you must have experience in the medical sales industry and knowledge of the acute sector. Ideally you will have experience in surgical or consumable sales. You will have the ability to manage a portfolio of products and understand the NHS procurement system. You will need to be comfortable working in and out of theatre and approaching clinicians. You should have a commercial approach and be able to work autonomously. Any existing contacts within theatre, ICU, infection control or vascular access will be highly beneficial. You should be self-motivated, highly driven, very ambitious and show a great willing to learn on the job.
You will be responsible for selling to key clinicians within theatre, vascular access, ITU, infection control and tissue viability as well as negotiating and securing business with procurement. You will be in charge of managing a diverse product portfolio and helping the company with its continued and rapid growth in the UK market.
