The Position:  An exciting Territory Business Manager opportunity has arisen in this organisation's vision care team-a strong market player in eye care. The territory will cover North London and East Anglia.

Area working: North London and East Anglia

Products: Contact lenses and contact lens solutions 

Basic salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus

The role:

You will be responsible for promoting the Vision Care portfolio and demonstrating added-value services to achieve maximum sales in accordance with established targets for the territory. Reporting to the NSM, you will develop Vision Care and OTC Portfolio sales into allocated accounts, and detail products and services to Optometrists, Business Owners as well as other relevant practice staff. Working closely with your National Sales Manager and the Regional Accounts Manager you will develop cross-boundary sales strategies to target high potential Independents and Group Accounts. You will negotiate pricing and business proposals directly with the customer once approved by your manager.

Your experience:

You will be a driven and successful sales person who enjoys developing new business. You should have previous experience of selling pharmacy/OTC or FMCG type products or any product which is then sold to an end consumer. Alongside this, you should be able to demonstrate an ability to grow business in a complex sales environment and an ability to sell products in a clinical environment. You should also be able to demonstrate an ability to successfully identify customer needs and build value added services into proposals.
