Pharmaceutical Territory Manager Ophthalmics

The Position:  A vacancy has now arisen for an experienced medical rep to join their pharmaceutical division as a territory manager covering North Thames.

Area working:North Thames and Anglia (the focus of the work is in London) 

Products: Ophthalmic pharmaceuticals - therapeutic and diagnostic eye drops, dry eye products, antibiotics etc.

Basic Salary: Negotiable

Bonus: £10,000

Your experience:

  • Degree preferred or equivalent professional qualification.
  • ABPI Qualification essential.
  • Driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
  • Previous pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Knowledge of NHS structures and Primary Care and hospital sales.

The role:

The purpose of this role is to promote the pharmaceutical portfolio to targeted professionals in Primary & Secondary Care, although there will be more focus on Private and NHS hospitals.  You will build business relationships within target accounts and ensure that local Pharmacists stock the product and have relevant knowledge required. As the products are used during ophthalmic surgery, you may sometimes be required to go into theatre.
