Care Home Representative - Pressure Care

Job Description

The company: This organisation is a small, but growing Northern based company. As an established manufacturer of pressure area care products for other well-known companies, they are now promoting their own brands and developing their business directly with the NHS, care homes and equipment groups. Their approach is to provide quality products at a competitive price. 

The position: Due to sales growth, they are now looking for an experienced care home rep to develop their business in the South Yorkshire to North East area.

Basic salary: Negotiable

Area working: M1/A1M corridor from South Yorkshire to North East. 

Products: Full range of pressure area care products including static and dynamic mattresses, servicing and rental. 

The role:

Working for a Northern manufacturer of pressure area care products, your role will be to drive business in the care home sector. Although established in manufacturing, this organisation is quite recent to developing their own brands, so the role will be very much business development. Using your pre-existing contacts, you will visit decision makers within larger nursing homes, demonstrating products and negotiating sales. 

Your experience:

You should have some previous experience of selling into nursing home groups. This will allow you to use your contacts to develop new pressure area care business in these homes. You will enjoy hunting out new business and will have a pro-active approach to your job.
