Nurse Advisor - Continence and Stoma

The Company:  Join a UK manufacturer of Urology and Continence Products who is committed to Urology and has an underlying passion to bringing the best products to market. Research and development is at the heart of the business and they ensure that the customer's needs always come first. The company have a Home Delivery and Nursing Service, which has been established for over 30 years. They specialise in delivering all brands of continence and stoma care products to patients' front doors.

The Position: As a qualified Nurse Advisor, you will be providing individual assessments, impartial advice and product training to ensure the best care and support for patients and healthcare professionals.

Basic salary: £27,000

Bonus: 10%-20% of salary

Area working: North East - Thirsk to Sunderland area

Products: Nightingale specialises in providing continence assessments to patients in their own homes. We have an extensive range of continence and stoma products.

Your experience:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be a Registered Nurse, Staff Nurse, Community Nurse or District Nurse. Having Community or District Nursing experience is an advantage. You should be experienced within continence care, including catheterisation and be a confident and articulate communicator. You must be able to work both alone and as part of a team, and be willing to travel as required. 

The role:

You will specialise in providing continence assessments to patients in their own homes, as well as providing advice, training and support to patients, carers and healthcare practitioners in the community. Your responsibility will be to manage a caseload of patients in the outlined territory. You will be advising your patients on continence products including intermittent self catheterisation, drainage bags and sheaths and will help patients choose products that best fit their needs.
