Dental Product Specialist - North

Job Description

The company: Specialising in Dental Microscopes, they are established as the premier supplier of Dental Equipment across the UK & Ireland. They have built a loyal client base through their reliable and cost effective equipment.The Company exclusively distributes products from leading manufacturers worldwide, and Dentists have come to recognise their product range as the leaders in dental microscopy.

Basic salary: £28,000 - £35,000

Commission: c£13k in first year.

Area working: Northern England including Scotland (down to & including Sheffield)

Products: Dental microscopes and camera systems 

The role:

Your main responsibility is to maintain existing business levels and increase sales and market share. To do this, you will be developing the Northern territory, maintaining existing customer relations as well as seeking out new business within private dental practices and dental universities. Providing a top class after sales service is something you will be focusing on. You will also attend dental exhibitions and courses, assist with sales external to your territory, and to show your own initiative and be proactive in your sales approach. Your time will be split over the first couple of months. You will visit the USA for manufacturer training, along with in house training at the office and time in the field shadowing.

Your experience:

For this role, you should be a dynamic and energetic individual. You should ideally be educated to degree level, and have the ability to show technical competence and work under pressure. Field sales experience is essential for this role as you need to know how to manage your own territory and you must be willing to travel.  You should be confident and comfortable seeking out new business. Dental or technical capital equipment sales experience would be beneficial. You must be a good communicator, outgoing, and have the ability to adapt to multiple levels.
