Clinical Support Specialist

Job Description

The company: Join a company which has the UK distribution rights for innovative wound care products and anti-embolism hosiery. All of their products have been chosen to offer the best overall value to the NHS, measured by patient outcomes and overall cost effectiveness. 

The position: The Clinical Support Specialist is responsible for training clinicians in relevant product therapy areas and the provision of training and support for existing and new product developments. This is an initial 6-month contract with a view to going permanent.

Basic salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Area working: either side of the M62 corridor down to Birmingham & up to Aberdeen

Your experience:

You must have a nursing/ clinical background with a relevant qualification. Having an active PIN is ideal but isn't essential. Experience of selling to the NHS is highly beneficial but not compulsory. You will have the ability to influence NHS staff at the highest levels and have a flexible 'can do' attitude needed to thrive in a fast growing company. 

The role

You will be responsible for developing and working to a monthly plan to maximise business for all promoted products. You should ensure the fast uptake of new products in an evolving NHS and Private sector and fully leverage capabilities of the cross-functional team through effective collaboration. Also consider opportunities that may mutually benefit the wider business. You will ensure market access barriers are overcome to maximise sales as well as meeting key milestones in account plans. You will be tasked with developing and implementing treatment pathways across key organisations, and ensuring the clinicians are able to administer the product. The role includes working closely with the marketing team to build and align sales and marketing strategies and identify on-going needs/opportunities to maximize business in the field. You will also be required to support and organise key educational events as appropriate for business needs.
