£35,000 - £40,000 + 20% bonus

The Position:  Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for a nurse to join their gastro team to work as a clinical specialist.

Basic salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Bonus: 20%

Area working: East (from Scottish Borders to South Coast-Southampton/Kent)

Products: Gastro products including enteral feeding devices and PEG tubes

The role:  

Due to an internal promotion, this organisation is now looking for a new Clinical Specialist to join their team. The prime responsibility of the clinical specialist is to provide training and support to healthcare professionals for enteral feeding and digestive health products. Working alongside the key account management team, the role will involve supporting and facilitating new product evaluations within trusts, support and advice on technical issues for customers and key account managers around the company's devices, ongoing training of customers already using the company's products.  This role will involve a significant element of travel and the likelihood of some time away from home. 

Your experience:

You will have a nursing background preferably in the enteral feeding and or Critical Care field, although if you can demonstrate previous success in a Clinical Specialist role outside those areas you will still be considered. You should also be able to demonstrate experience of providing training and assessment in clinical practice. It would be desirable if you have already worked in a commercial environment but may suit the right person who is looking to make the step from the clinical to the commercial world. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you should be happy to muck in and help fellow team members when required.
