The Position:  Due to an upcoming maternity cover they are looking for an experienced medical device rep with secondary care experience to support their speciality lens business in hospitals on a national basis.

Area Working: UK & Ireland (not to be based Ireland or Scotland)

Products: Speciality contact lenses which are fitted in eye centres

Basic salary: Negotiable

The role

Working on a national basis you will be responsible for a number of existing key hospital accounts with the potential to develop some additional during your tenure in the role. As the Hospital Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the national uptake of the Specialty Lens Business achieving the annual sales and margin targets. These speciality contact lenses are only prescribed to the patient within specialist eye centres. You will deliver knowledgeable and precise sales information to clinical and non-clinical staff in a hospital environment. You will work closely with Marketing and Manufacturing internally as well as a range of stakeholders within the hospital environment.   

Your experience:

With a background in medical device sales it is essential that you have dedicated experience of selling into hospitals.You may be looking to expand into a new product area or even be looking to move into a new clinical area. You will have a willingness and aptitude to develop strong sales and account management skills and have a natural talent for forging strong relationships with hospital clinical staff.
