The role: A expansion for role for a Clinical Specialist to support a new product launch, has now become available within the team. You will use your experience of training and demonstrating technical equipment within a theatre environment to help drive sales of the product.

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of demonstrating technical equipment in a theatre environment. Previous experience of demonstrating phaco equipment or other ophthalmic equipment would be highly advantageous. Alternatively those who have worked in clinically in theatres may also be considered. Experience of working in ophthalmic theatres would be advantageous. You should also have evidence of successful training of staff in a clinical environment. This is a national role so you should be flexible with travel and be able to spend nights away from home. The role may also require some weekend work and you will be able to claim this time back.
Your role will be to support the Account Managers in their accounts by offering in theatre clinical training and technical support for the company's range of ophthalmic equipment. Working alongside the Clinical Application Specialists and Surgical Sales team, the Clinical Trainer will support clinical trials and national post award training where required.
Working five days per week the clinical trainer will be adaptable to support weekend theatre lists where required and will therefore be responsible for their own time management based on customer demand.
