What you’ll be doing:
Working for one of the UK’s leading suppliers of the finest surgical and diagnostic products, your job will be to effectively increase sales volume and revenue through medical device product sales year on year, whilst maintaining strong customer relations and increasing market share.
- You'll do this by presenting the company products and services to clinicians, theatre / department managers and nursing staff using clinical data.
- You'll also educate customers in the product features and benefits, clinical use of products and new technologies, and spend time in theatre supporting this education.
- You'll participate in study days, exhibitions and workshops on-territory and nationally as required. Infrequent overseas travel might be required.
Stakeholder/selling to: Theatre - Ophthalmic Surgeons, Specialist Nurses, ODPs and procurement.
Here’s what you need:
- You’ll need previous experience selling into the NHS, preferably within a theatre setting. Experience with ophthalmic products—past or present—is a clear advantage.
- A strong grasp of purchasing pathways within both NHS and private healthcare is essential. You’ll be comfortable influencing and negotiating across clinical and procurement stakeholders.
- You'll be solution-driven and patient-centric in your approach, bringing consultative, value-based selling skills that align with a procedure-led sales model.
- Cultural fit is paramount—you'll be a self-starter who thrives autonomously but contributes readily as a collaborative team player. Strong relationship-building capabilities are key.
- Self-motivated, pragmatic, and tenacious when identifying new growth opportunities, especially in competitive and evolving markets.
- Highly developed interpersonal, networking, and influencing skills to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Basic Salary: £30,000 - £50,000
Bonus: £12,000 - £20,000
Car policy: Company car (possible allowance if move onto company scheme after lease ends) car example - Tesla (only £60 monthly tax) also some diesel/petrol options
