What you’ll be doing:
- You'll be selling an ENT scope which is already established, alongside a cystoscope which has been on the market for 2 to 3 years, and a ureteroscope which is new to the market. The role is therefore a good mixture of account management and hunting out new business.
- You'll convey compelling health-economic arguments to stakeholders beyond clinical areas (procurement, finance etc) as well as selling into a range of hospital departments including theatres, ITU, endoscopy, urology, outpatients, emergency departments, Max Fax and speech and language.
- You will be selling to: Urologists, procurement, ENT surgeons.
Here’s what you need:
- You'll already be working as a medical device sales rep with several years experience under your belt, and understand the workings of the NHS in Scotland.
- Ideally your sales experience will be in either endoscopy, ENT, urology or theatre, although this isn't essential.
- You will need to understand and have sold to the network of financial and procurement stakeholders within the Scottish NHS and have experience of putting business cases together to support the sales of products.
- Attitude is key. You'll have a great work ethic, enjoy the challenge of bringing in new business but also be comfortable with account management.
- You'll be sales driven and competitive, but happy to roll your sleeves up and help your team members when needed.
- You'll have a growth mindset and enjoy being coached and learning new skills.
Basic Salary: c£52,000 - £58,000+ depending on experience and contacts
Bonus: £40k OT with year end overage at 5%.
Car policy: hybrids/electric or car allowance of £700pm
