Location: North West (ideally Manchester-Liverpool based)

Product: Ophthalmic Surgery - IOLs, tension rings, IPCLs (Implantable Phakic Contact Lens), microsurgery knives, ophthalmic microsurgical instruments, ophthalmic cannula, and procedure packs.

The company offers the precision products needed to treat impaired vision and diseases of the eye, expertly balancing diagnostic and surgical.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working in the niche market therapy area of ophthalmic surgery, the focus of this role is the achievement of company sales, profit margins and product targets for the region.
  • You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the businesses along with regards to product range, technical specifications, prices, features, benefits, clinical applications and sales strategies.
  • You willl present products and services to clinicians, theatre/department managers and nursing staff using clinical data as well as the education of customers (and team members) in product features and benefits and the clinical use of products and new technologies.
  • Stakeholders/selling to: Theatre - Ophthalmic Surgeons, Specialist Nurses and Theatre staff as well as Procurment personnel.

Here’s what you need:

  • You should have previous sales into theatres and understand the theatre setting.
  • Any ophthalmic experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Self-motivated, pragmatic and tenacious in seeking new growth opportunities.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, networking and influencing skills.
  • A true team-player quick to learn from and provide support to colleagues at levels.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic mindset.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territory.
  • Proven experience in working to challenging but achievable and realistic deadlines.
  • Excellent written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong personal drive.

Basic Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Bonus: 20% on target + cash incentives for over target

Car policy: Company car (possible allowance if move onto company scheme after lease ends) car example - Tesla (only £60 monthly tax) also some diesel/petrol options
