Location: South West England and South Wales (ideally based Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Swansea, Swindon, Bridgewater M4/M5 corridor)

Product: Biomedical and cryogenic freezers, laboratory/biomedical/pharmacy/blood bank refrigerators, wireless monitoring and related consumables

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be part of an expanding sales team managing the South West (incl South Wales) UK territory, selling directly and through a small network of distributors.
  • You will provide a consultation-based approach that seeks to provide the best technology solutions, products and/or services to meet customers' needs.
  • This role is field-based, and you will meet with customers and demonstrate products.
  • You will be tasked with growing the company’s existing accounts and securing new clients.
  • Stakeholders/Selling to: Academia, pharma, research, NHS and healthcare settings, dealing with Lab Manager and Procurement staff.

Here’s what you need:

  • You should have c1yr+ sales experience ideally gained within life science or healthcare or related sectors.
  • If healthcare sales experience in lab sales as opposed to pharma/theatre sales is preferred, unless you also have any other lab based/related experience.
  • A good understanding of laboratory processes and practices would be nice but is not essential.
  • You will have a natural sales flair with the ability to work to targets.
  • You will be an organised problem solver with a positive can-do attitude and an ability to recognise, respond and resolve challenges.
  • Technologically minded with a keen interest in life science and research

Basic Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Bonus: Commission Yr 1 = 4-6k, Yr 2 = c10k

Car policy: Car allowance worth £550
