What you’ll be doing:
With a broad remit of marketing activities, this is a varied and exciting role with a medtech company who are currently in the scale up phase. Typically, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Campaign Development and Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns to promote products, services, or the overall brand.
- Develop campaign strategies that align with company goals and target audience.
- Digital Marketing:
- Manage digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and online advertising.
- Utilize digital platforms to increase brand visibility, engage with the target audience, and drive traffic to the company's website.
- Redevelopment of company website
- Content Creation:
- Create engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including website content, blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters.
- Ensure that content is consistent with the brand voice and messaging.
- Market Research:
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
- Use research findings to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and design, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, or partners for specific marketing initiatives.
- Data Analysis:
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns.
- Use data insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Event Planning:
- Organize and coordinate promotional events, trade shows, or conferences to enhance brand visibility and attract potential customers.
- Brand Management:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
- Implement brand guidelines in marketing communications.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and influencers in the industry.
Here’s what you need:
- Ideally, you'll have a bachelor degree or equivalent in business, marketing or communications.
- You'll need at least three years’ experience in a marketing role within the medical/healthcare sector - this is essential.
- You'll have impeccable project management, leadership, and communication skills with experience of direct line management.
- You'll understand integrated marketing and campaign management techniques and how to leverage these for measurable outcomes.
- You'll be happy to roll your sleeves up to make things happen, and thrive in a team environment, and your blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills will ensure you excel in the role.
Basic Salary: c£60k to £70k depending on experience
