Who you’ll be working for: 

You will be joining a company that believes that enhancing the diagnostic capabilities of healthcare professionals is crucial for advancing patient care. The owner and founder, a colorectal trainee, recognised that significant limitations in diagnostic pathways for colorectal disease can cause sub-optimal patient outcomes.

The company was established with a sincere commitment to introducing hardware and software innovations to the market, specifically designed to address these unmet needs. The objective is to enhance the diagnosis and prognosis of patients with colorectal and gastrointestinal diseases. When utilised by healthcare professionals globally, the products and services offered aim to revolutionise the management of these diseases with the transformation intended to elevate the quality of patient care and contribute to saving lives.

What you’ll be doing:

With a broad remit of marketing activities, this is a varied and exciting role with a medtech company who are currently in the scale up phase. Typically, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Campaign Development and Execution:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns to promote products, services, or the overall brand.
  • Develop campaign strategies that align with company goals and target audience.
  1. Digital Marketing:
  • Manage digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and online advertising.
  • Utilize digital platforms to increase brand visibility, engage with the target audience, and drive traffic to the company's website.
  • Redevelopment of company website
  1. Content Creation:
  • Create engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including website content, blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters.
  • Ensure that content is consistent with the brand voice and messaging.
  1. Market Research:
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
  • Use research findings to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and design, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, or partners for specific marketing initiatives.
  1. Data Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Use data insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
  1. Event Planning:
  • Organize and coordinate promotional events, trade shows, or conferences to enhance brand visibility and attract potential customers.
  1. Brand Management:
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Implement brand guidelines in marketing communications.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources for maximum impact.
  1. Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and influencers in the industry.

Here’s what you need:

  • Ideally, you'll have a bachelor degree or equivalent in business, marketing or communications.
  • You'll need at least three years’ experience in a marketing role within the medical/healthcare sector - this is essential.
  • You'll have impeccable project management, leadership, and communication skills with experience of direct line management.
  • You'll understand integrated marketing and campaign management techniques and how to leverage these for measurable outcomes.
  • You'll be happy to roll your sleeves up to make things happen, and thrive in a team environment, and your blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills will ensure you excel in the role.

Basic Salary: c£60k to £70k depending on experience
