Location: South Thames

Products: Cleanroom garments, sterile and non-sterile consumables, e.g. gloves, wipes, coats, sterile syringe packs, facemasks, aprons, footwear, alcohols, disinfectants.

Who you’ll be working for: 

  • You will be joining a family-owned business based in Lincolnshire employing over 400 people. The company provides products and services to various industries.  
  • Its current focus areas include rental of specialist work wear to cleanroom industries (pharmaceutical, medical devices, aerospace), and of protective workwear to manufacturing industries (engineering, automotive).
  • The company also manufactures and distributes a range of cleanroom products, which it sells in the UK and exports throughout Europe and further afield, including India, Australia, and Canada.
  • The company has an ambitious vision for growth both in the UK where they are investing in all their plants and abroad.

 What you’ll be doing:

  • Working as a Business Development Manager you will manage and develop relationships, raising market awareness of the brand and offerings.
  • You will define long-term strategic goals, building key customer relationships, with a large existing portfolio of over 100 accounts including key accounts, identifying business opportunities, negotiating, re-signing and closing business opportunities.
  • Working in the field you will need to ensure you are proactively conducting service visits both face to face and virtually, this will also include some new business appointments working with a dedicated Sales Coordinator.
  • This role is a business development/account management role within the Cleanroom market sector. You will be responsible for managing profitable growth within our South East based customer portfolio, focusing on Cleanroom Consumables, Textile Rental and Medical Devices.
  • Stakeholders/Selling to: Clean room Managers, Purchasing Managers, procurement.

Here’s what you need:

  • A highly self-motivated sales and service professional, you will be able to demonstrate a successful sales track record ideally gained in a Business-to-Business (B2B) environment (previous sales experience essential).
  • In addition, you will possess a proven ability to generate new business and to maintain and develop long-term business relationships.
  • An ambitious self-starter, you will be seeking a career opportunity within an organisation that will invest in you and will offer you the potential to progress your career beyond this role, if desired. 

Basic Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

Bonus: c£5-10k (paid monthly)

Car policy: company car
