What you’ll be doing:
- You will be responsible for negotiating product quality versus price to get the best value for the business and the customer. This includes qualifying opportunities to identify quick wins and slow burners, where you should maximise your time and the Identifying/managing of key stakeholders.
- You will build strong and lasting business relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process, identify upcoming tenders and perform all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction, presentation, trials through to contract negotiation and closing of deals.
- You will be primarily selling to end users which in this case is Consultants in A&E, Theatres, Critical Care, Maternity, CT and Pathology departments. However, there is also work with procurement & finance departments for contract & pricing purposes once you get buy-in from the clinical team.
Here’s what you need:
- You will have 1-2 years minimum sales experience within the NHS/Medical sales or other markets and have the right drive and determination to succeed.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience of selling consumables into Theatre/Critical Care/A&E departments, however, this is by no means essential and strong candidates with any direct sales experience will be considered if you have the right character.
- You should be able to demonstrate your sales successes both on your CV and at interview.
- You should be a hungry and competitive salesperson who is money/bonus driven and eager to learn.
Basic Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Bonus: £22,000 Open ended
Car policy: Car allowance c£550 per month
