  • Your role will be supported by quite a few other internal stakeholders including Key Account Managers and Field Sales Trainers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • The Sales Manager role is a senior role within the business unit where you'll be responsible for maintaining a high performing sales team to achieve short and long term business objectives and targets.
  • You'll work with the Business Unit manager and other key stakeholders to ensure that the correct strategies are being deployed and targets are being met. 
  • As the role is a national role some travelling and time away from home will be required, including some international travel.  There is an expectation that you will be out in the field for 3 days per week coaching and managing the team of 9 reps and 2 nurses.
  • You'll become part of the ‘middle management team’ and will need to communicate extensively with the global business unit.

Here’s what you need:

  • You'll have at least five years’ experience managing a team within medical devices and have experience within IV access or interventional radiology.
  • You'll have demonstrable successful track record in recruiting, developing and retaining high performing sales staff and be able to demonstrate the ability lead to and manage a sales team. 
  • The team consists of experienced and established reps as well as those newer to the industry, so you'll need to be comfortable managing a team of mixed experience levels.
  • You will have managed product life cycles, set product strategies, launched new products, developed KOLs and have worked with a variety of internal stakeholders to deliver results.
  • You will be able to manage negotiation and influence key stakeholders, both internally and externally at executive level.
  • You should have a high level of knowledge and operational understanding of key government initiatives relating to both the current and future climate of healthcare.

Bonus points if you have:

Experience of working within the capital equipment market. 

Basic Salary: c£70,000

Bonus: £20,000
