The company: Join a company who have been supplying nursing equipment throughout the UK and Ireland for over 20 years. They are product experts in community nursing beds, pressure area care (mattresses and cushions) and moving and handling.
The job: The main purpose of this role is to generate new business sales, retain existing business and contracts and manage accounts.

The position involves the generation of new business within the core market of NHS hospitals and trusts, as well as the retention and development of existing customers and contracts. You will be instrumental in the development of secondary CES, private hospitals and nursing home markets. Customers include community equipment services, social services, nursing homes, hospices, special schools, community hospitals, acute hospitals and private individuals. It involves the training and participation in clinical reviews, trials and CPD events. The role includes promoting the company as leading provider of moving and handling solutions and hoists.
Ideally, you will have pressure care or moving/ handling sales experience, however sales experience in other disciplines will also be considered. You should have an understanding of the NHS Acute and Community sector and extended long term care markets. You will understand NHS and Social Care procurement practices as well as disability and the underlying funding streams. You must be enthusiastic with a positive and energetic attitude to be able to embrace change. It is fundamental you that are able to work within a physically demanding sales environment. You will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills and show an ability to identify business opportunities, set clear objectives and deliver results.
