Who you’ll be working for:

Following a sustained period of commercial growth, the business is now investing further in its sales team, leadership structure and commercial infrastructure to support the next phase of expansion.
The company has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions that help healthcare providers improve patient safety, operational efficiency and environmental performance. This is an exciting time to join the business. With continued investment in people, systems and market development, there is significant opportunity for ambitious sales professionals to build successful territories and develop their careers as the company continues to grow.
What you’ll enjoy:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that has already established strong foundations and is now investing in the next phase of its commercial growth.
You'll have the opportunity to build and shape your own territory rather than simply maintaining an existing customer base, while benefiting from the support of an experienced leadership team and dedicated commercial resources.
Why apply?
- Join a growing healthcare business at an exciting stage of its development
- Build a territory with genuine new business potential
- Strong internal support including commercial support, marketing and lead generation
- Hybrid and flexible working
- Opportunity to work closely with an experienced leadership team
- Clear scope for career progression as the commercial team continues to grow
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious healthcare sales professional who wants the autonomy to build something meaningful while developing their career within a growing organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
As Territory Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving new business growth across the North of England, covering a territory broadly from Birmingham and Leicester northwards. This is a field-based role focused on identifying new opportunities, building relationships with NHS and private healthcare customers, and managing the sales process from initial contact through to contract award.
Initially, your focus will be on developing new business and expanding the customer base. As you win new accounts, you'll take ownership of those relationships, developing them into long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities for further growth.
You'll sell into a wide range of healthcare customers including NHS Trusts, private hospitals, community healthcare providers, distributors and online resellers, working closely with stakeholders across procurement, infection prevention, facilities management and estates.
You'll be supported by a dedicated Commercial Support Coordinator, CRM, marketing resources and lead generation support, allowing you to focus on building relationships and winning business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the territory
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract award
- Building relationships with procurement, infection prevention, facilities and estates teams
- Delivering product presentations and demonstrations
- Managing and developing newly won customer accounts
- Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and CRM
- Monitoring market activity, competitor developments and tender opportunities
Here’s what you need:
We're looking for a proactive and commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing new business and building long-term customer relationships.
You'll ideally have experience selling into the NHS or healthcare sector and understand how to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments. Experience within infection prevention, healthcare consumables, facilities, estates or another adjacent healthcare market would be highly advantageous.
Just as importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys creating opportunities, works well independently and takes ownership of your territory.
You'll ideally have:
- Field-based sales experience within healthcare or an NHS-facing environment
- Experience selling into NHS Trusts, private healthcare or other complex healthcare organisations
- An understanding of procurement processes and key NHS stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach to new business development
- The ability to manage a sales pipeline and work autonomously
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory
