What you’ll be doing:
We are recruiting for a Junior Sales Representative to support the commercial development of this company's products across the UK market. The role will focus primarily on new business generation, pipeline development, and progressing sales opportunities within universities, colleges, hospitals, and simulation centres.
This is a consultative sales role involving longer sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and high-value educational technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships, delivering product demonstrations, managing opportunities through CRM systems, and supporting continued growth within the UK market.
Initially this position is a 12-month maternity cover contract, however there is potential for the role to become permanent based on performance and business growth.
Stakeholders selling to:
- Deans, Heads of Department, and Professors within medical and healthcare faculties
- Curriculum Managers, Heads of Schools, Principals, and Governors
- Simulation Centre Managers and Clinical Directors
- Allied health departments including nursing, physiotherapy, midwifery, radiography, and life sciences
- Higher-level policymakers overseeing educational groups and institutions
- Selected commercial organisations including medical device manufacturers
Here’s what you need:
We are looking for a commercially driven individual with strong communication skills, a structured sales approach, and a genuine interest in healthcare and education technology.
Key requirements include:
- Exposure to healthcare, medical, life sciences, or related sectors
- Technological proficiency, particularly with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Hunter mentality with a focus on new business development
- Resilience, curiosity, and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and self-direction
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK
Candidates from clinical backgrounds without formal sales experience will also be considered where there is strong commercial aptitude and motivation to move into a sales role.
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
Bonus: OTE approximately £66,000–£67,000 based on a 60% base salary / 40% commission split.
